EUGENE, OREGON DUCKS 109 - AGGIES 52 Sabrina Ionescu surpassed the 2,000 point mark and finished one rebound shy of her 19th triple-double in Oregon’s 109 to 52 victory over Utah State. The #1 Oregon Ducks (2-0, 0-0) rushed past the Utah State Aggies (1-2, 0-0) and were able to provide some quality reps for their young bench who finished with 31 points. The Ducks never trailed, were a perfect 14-of-14 from the line, hit 17 three-pointers, grabbed 45 rebounds and stole the ball nine times. Coach Kelly Graves cycled through the roster which led to a handful of awkward moments we wouldn’t normally expect from the Ducks, but even with a couple of scoring slumps throughout the game Oregon was still able to run away with it. The crowd of 8,334 were well aware that the Triple-Double Queen fell just short of another one, but the game was hardly a letdown as Sabrina Ionescu is now fourth behind Bev Smith, Jillian Alleyne, and Alison Lang; Lang currently h

The Oregon Ducks are known for being an innovative, forward-thinking athletic department. This is especially true when it comes to their uniforms and facilities, largely thanks to the backing of Nike founder Phil Knight, who has made his alma mater the company’s flagship school. Oregon is so out far in front of the competition that they even have outpaced everyone when it comes to sideline toilets. During the Ducks’ 56-24 win against the USC Trojans in Los Angeles on Saturday, USC graduate Jimmy Mack on Twitter noticed that Oregon had an impressive popup porta potty toilet on the sideline. The collapsible unit raises up when stepped on to provide cover for someone wishing to utilize it. Here is a video of the toilet in action, via Mack: The toilet is covered in Oregon green colors and even is branded with a Nike swoosh, of course. Even though we are new to this incredible 21st century contraption, it actually has been around for at least five years. The Pac-12 website wrote about it in 2014, and a Cal blog c

To put it nicely, this is dark horse week for Yardbarker’s Heisman watchlist. To put it meanly, these players don’t really have a chance to be among the last three sitting in New York in December. But hey, all of the favorites were enjoying bye weeks, so others were going to step up. Some of these names were preseason favorites who had slow starts to the season and are now heating up. Others are low-key players who got exposure while the brightest stars were at home. Here are five players who took advantage of that opportunity and gave the voters something to think about. Trevor Lawrence, Clemson Clemson has had a rough season by its standards. The Tigers have dropped three spots in the AP Poll despite being undefeated. However, against lowly Wofford, it looked like the team hit its stride, and Trevor Lawrence is now looking like the Heisman Candidate he was advertised to be at the beginning of the season. During the third quarter of Saturday’s big game against USC, Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert took an inadvertent shot to the left knee and stayed down. It was a scary-looking hit. USC’s Chase Williams was falling down when he crashed into Herbert’s left knee. Trainers came out onto the field, and after a while Herbert was able to thankfully walk off under his own power but went directly into the medical tent. Then, incredibly, Herbert was able to come right back into the game. Immediately after that, Herbert threw a dime to Juwan Johnson, who scored a 15-yard touchdown to give the Ducks a 35-17 lead.

Just when it looked like USC was going to gain some momentum late in the second quarter, Oregon cornerback Mykael Wright stole it back. Kedon Slovis had just made it a one-score game after throwing a touchdown to Michael Pittman Jr. Then on the kickoff, with just 20 seconds left in the second quarter, Wright romped 100 yard to the house for six points. After the extra point went through the uprights, Oregon once more had a two-score lead, 28-17, which held up heading into halftime.

USC sophomore safety Isaiah Pola-Mao doled out a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit during the second quarter against Oregon and was ejected for targeting. Pola-Mao clearly lowered his head and launched into Juwan Johnson, who dropped the ball after being blasted. Here’s video of the brutal hit. After review, the call of targeting was upheld, and Pola-Mao was ejected from the game. A handful of plays later, Oregon scored a touchdown to cut USC’s lead to 10-7.

The past three weekends of college football have each delivered a stunning top-10 upset to shake up the College Football Playoff and conference standings. Now Week 10 is here and everyone is hoping Saturday’s matchups will do the same. Week 10 of the season features an SEC East clash between No. 8 Georgia and No. 6 Florida. The excitement doesn’t end there. Kansas and Kansas State will battle it out for the Governor’s Cup. Meanwhile, TCU and Oklahoma State will be exchanging blows in a conference battle with explosive potential. There will be plenty of compelling matchups this weekend for football fans to enjoy. Now let’s take a look at the burning questions that will capture Week 10’s most prominent college football games. Can Georgia’s offense end its woes against No. 6 Florida’s defense? The Bulldogs’ offense isn’t firing on all cylinders lately. Payton Pritchard wants Oregon to dominate from the start this year. The Ducks are No. 15 in the AP preseason poll. They were ranked at the start of last season, too, but before their surprising run in the NCAA Tournament they had a number of early losses that dropped the team out of the Top 25. They
